Ross Ramsey as a fourth generation oil man took over the control of the family business International Western Oil Corporation (IWO) from his retiring grand father and invited his new partner Dr. Benjamin Tran to join IWO to help execute its new direction in exploration initiatives. IWO later applied its operating license to the Texas Railroad Commission to become a fully licensed oil and gas operator in the state of Texas.
International Western Petroleum, Inc. was co-founded by Ross Ramsey and his business partner Dr. Benjamin Tran to serve as an acquisition vehicle aiming to go public and to acquire certain producing assets of International Western Oil with a plan to start additional exploration projects in the Central West Texas region and acquiring more properties in the future.
International Western Petroleum acquired working interests of 2 joint ventures from International Western Oil – Bend Arch Lion 1A JV and Bend Arch Lion 1B. IWP later assisted IWO in completing the rest of the drilling program with 100% success rate, resulting in a total of 10 wells in production.
International Western Petroleum was accepted by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to enter the capital markets to list on the OTCQB exchange and FINRA approved its trading symbol INWP.
International Western Petroleum applied with NASDAQ Listing Center to uplist to NASDAQ Capital Market to further its growth plan. The Company is aiming to acquire more oil and gas concessions while working with its capital partners to accelerate its M&A growth.
